Rosemarie Fadel, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY she was the loving daughter of the late Thomas and Nettie (Joseph) Jacob, and step-daughter of the late Marguerite Jacob.


Rosemarie attended local schools and graduated from Stella Niagara High School in 1944. On April 11, 1953 she married James Fadel at the former Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Niagara Falls. Rosemarie was a devout Catholic and member of St. Mary of the Cataract Church, as well as a former member of the Mother's Club and Cub Scout Den Mother at St. John de LaSalle Church also located in Niagara Falls. Mrs. Fadel enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the United States and Canada and was also an excellent cook.


In addition to her husband of 62 years, Rosemarie is survived by her half-siblings Thomas C. Jacob of Niagara Falls, Nanette Lukich of San Antonio, TX, Donna (Timothy) Earp, Mona Jacob and Susan Macri all of Niagara Falls. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosemarie was predeceased by her son James Fadel, as well as her sister Lucy (late Rolin) Johnston; and half-siblings Harry (Maria) Jacob, Raymond Jacob and Charles Jacob.


The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 5th from 10 – 11:00 A.M. at St Mary of the Cataract Church, 259 4th Street, Niagara Falls, NY, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
