Rosemary A. Van Auker, 90, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on May 26, 2021 at Elderwood at Wheatfield. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Caprio) Masceri

Rosemary attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1947. On February 10, 1950, she married Stanley R. Van Auker, who predeceased her on December 26, 1996. Rosemary was employed at the Carborundum Company in Niagara Falls for over 35 years as a Bookkeeper in the Accounting Department. She was an avid golfer and bowler and loved to travel to Florida to play golf. Rosemary loved her many dogs and enjoyed giving treats to neighborhood dogs. She especially looked forward to her "Girls Club" lunches, when she and her high school friends met regularly to catch up.

Rosemary is survived by her nephew, John (Patrice) Elnicki, her niece, Cheryl Buntin as well as several great-nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Louis (late Dorothy) Masceri and Margaret (late John) Elnicki.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5 from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM.  Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY will be held for the family. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
