Roy J. Alonge, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY, on September 23, 2020. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Samuel and Ida (Spina) Alonge.

Roy was employed with General Motors Delphi Engine Plant as well as with Harrison Radiator.  Roy's pride was his garden with his display of patriotism by surrounding the garden with flags. He loved to share his produce, especially on Sunday gatherings. Roy had many close friends from the places where he frequently visited and loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was loved and respected by many and always had an extra bed if you needed a place to stay. God blessed us by knowing him. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

Roy is survived by his brother Steve (Sanda) Alonge, two nieces Ida and Maria, grandniece Stephanie (Michael) and great-nephew Steven and great-niece Isabella. His grandparents were the late Ambrogio and Theresa Spina and Catherine Alonge and Fred Sdao. Roy was also predeceased by his sisters, Kathy Trionfo and Theresa McClary.

Roy leaves behind many friends including: Jan and Dave Orsi, Fred Williams, Jerry Alaimo, Traci Pembleton, Dave Stoll, Robert Peckham Jr. Don Jordan, Dave Morreale, Lloyd Gardner and Rodney and Linda Alaimo.

Roy would also like to recognize his caregivers, Karen Gainey, Belinda Stevens and Donna Debole who extended his life with love and encouragement. We would also like to thank both the staffs at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and Niagara Hospice who treated him with compassionate care and made him comfortable.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  Roy's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 AM at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Everyone please assemble at church.  Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Summit Life Outreach Center, 1622 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
