At the active age of 83, Russell James Colosi passed away after a short illness on January 16, 2022. He is pre-deceased by Nora (divorced) and his children James (J.J.), and Caroline. Russell is survived by his two sons, Russell (Rusty) and William (Billy), and grandchildren J.J., Haley, Dylan, Stephen, Jay, and Jacob.

Russell was a lifelong employee of OxyChem, where he was well known as "Shag". His most vibrant memories were his adventures in drum corps with the Niagara Regionnaires and Empire Statesmen. He also had a passion for cars, bingo and yard sale treasure hunting.

A long-time unique circle of friendship included Bob West, Anna Buscavage, Joe Incorvia, Bob Willett, and Jim Palermo. And empty chair will remain in the circle for Russ.
