Russell Leenhouts, age 72, passed away January 31, 2020 at his Niagara Falls Residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late John and Thelma (Klage) Leenhouts.

Russell attended local schools and graduated from Niagara -Wheatfield High School.   He was employed as a laborer for BFI, retiring in 2004.  He enjoyed bowling in his younger years, and fishing.  Most of all took, Russell took pride in tending to his home garden.

Russell is survived by his daughter, Amy (Al) Harris, his son Brian (Cheryl) Leenhouts; his grandchildren, Cassandra Harris, Robert Harris, Tyler Leenhouts, Gavin Leenhouts and Braden Leenhouts; his siblings, Jean (late Gary) Ahl and Richard (Sandra) Leenhouts.  Russell was predeceased by his brother, Roger Leenhouts.

There will be no prior visitation.
