Ruth (Hollingsworth) Skrzypek, 78, of the Town of Niagara passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Clinton, NC she was the daughter of the late Isec and Ellamae Hollingworth.

Ruth attended school in North Carolina where she later married Francis Skrzypek. After moving to the Niagara Falls area she was employed at the former Kimberly Clark Corp. and Carborundum Company both in Niagara Falls. Ruth's favorite pastimes were playing poker and going to restaurants for dinner. But most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of fifty eight years, Ruth is survived by three sons Michael (Beth) Skrzypek, Scott Skrzypek and Chris Skrzypek all of the Town of Niagara and was predeceased by one son Brian (Denise of Niagara Falls, NY) Skrzypek. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, her brothers-in-law Tom (Jean) Skrzypek and Don (Terry) Skrzypek of Florida; her sisters-in-law Pat (Bob) Carges of Brockport, NY and Brenda Hollingsworth of Clinton, NC and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one grandson Josh Skrzypek and six siblings.

There will be no prior visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Skrzypek chose to donate her body to the University of Buffalo Anatomical Gift Program for medical research. Arrangements by M.J.
