Sadie (Sauro) Walos, 98 formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Monday September 18, 2017 at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars, PA.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Anna (Balsamello) Sauro.

Sadie attended local schools, and on April 15, 1944, married Theodore 'Teddy' Walos in Denver, CO.  Mr. Walos predeceased her on April 24, 1998.  During World War II, Sadie worked at Bell Aircraft Company.  She later went on to work at the Carborundum Company-Globar Division for twenty-seven years until her retirement in the early 1980's.  Sadie was a member of the John Duke Senior Center in Niagara Falls.  She was a passionate New York Yankee fan, and also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.  Above all, Sadie devoted her life to her family.

Mrs. Walos is survived by her three children, Gary (Beth) Walos of Harmony, PA, David (Peggy) Walos of Amherst, NY and Joanne (Jack) Fleury of Gibsonia, PA. Eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Troy) Raymond, Corey (KC) Walos, Troy, Dana, Denise and Richard Walos, Daniel (Laura) and David (Tiffany) Fleury, 4 great- grandchildren, Jayden Nolan, Jack Fleury, William Fleury and Thea Fleury as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was also predeceased by four sisters and three brothers, Mary (late Joseph) Corieri, Carolyn (late Peter) Inzinca, Rose (late Joseph) Mazza, Constance 'Connie' (late Peter) Civiletto, Samuel (late Jesse) Sauro, Joseph Sauro and Vincent Sauro.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin Friday September 22 ^nd at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 27 ^th Street and Independence Ave. Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
