Sally (Leonardo) DeGoski, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 12, 2011 at Elderwood Healthcare at Crestwood in Wheatfield, NY. Born in Mt. Morris, NY she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Grace Leonardo.

Sally was raised and educated in Mt. Morris, NY. During World War II she worked at Bausch and Lomb and moved to the Niagara Falls area in the 1950's. When she was younger, Sally was an avid bowler and participated in various local leagues. One of her favorite pastimes was watching wrestling on television as well as watching performers sing and dance.

Mrs. DeGoski is survived by her two children, Daniel H. DeGoski and Sharon (John) Candella both of Niagara Falls, NY; four grandchildren, John (Stacy) Basile, Cheryl Mort, Denise (Rich) Barilsky and Jessica (Anthony) Danielson, eight great-grandchildren, Brooke, Anthony, Adrianna, Mia, John, Jeffrey, Nicholas and Marissa, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by six sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be on Monday from 1 – 3 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 17th at 10 a.m. with Robert Fink officiating. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
