Salvatore 'Sam' C. Armeli 95, passed away on September 13, 2018 at Northgate Health Care Facility while under the care of Niagara Hospice after a full life.  Born April 9, 1923 in Jamestown, NY he was the son of the late Rosario and Sebastiana (Foti) Armeli.

Sam was raised and educated in Jamestown, and enjoyed spending his time at the Civil Conservation Corps Camp.  He joined the United States Army during World War II and served as a Staff Sergeant until his honorable discharge in 1946. He later moved to the Niagara Falls area where he raised his family.  Sam's passion in life was golf.  He spent many days at Hyde Park Golf Course as well as various other courses throughout the area.

Mr. Armeli is survived by two daughters, Joette (late Marty) Felice and Nancy Armeli, one son James Armeli, two grandsons, David M. Felice and Donald M. Felice, his great-granddaughter Alexi Nicole Felice, one sister Jenny (late Joseph) Paternati, one brother Anthony (late Grace) Armeli and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was also predeceased by two brothers, Joseph (late Josephine) Armeli and Nunzio Armeli.
