Salvatore F. "Sam" Ponticello age 64, entered into rest October 3, 2020. Born in Buffalo, New York, he was the son of the late Charles and Carmella (Germano) Ponticello.

Sam was a retired laborer for local # 210. He was a proud Marine , honorably discharged in 1976. He enjoyed to cook, going on fishing trips and watching western movies, most of he loved spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of Colleen M. Durkin-Ponticello. Father of Jacqueline (Aaron) Joyce, Julianna Ponticello- Betz, Molly (Brian) Naus and Jason Galbraith . Grandfather of Catherine, Roseann, Charles, Tyler and Shea. Brother of Libby Ponticello, Richard (Anne) Ponticello and the late Mark Ponticello Sr. Uncle of Mark (Jennifer) Ponticello Jr., Robert (Hannah) Ponticello, William Ponticello, Carla (Carlos), Alyssa and Gabriella Ponticello, Son in law of the late George and Ann Durkin. Brother in law of David (Chiara) Durkin and Kyle Durkin.
