Samia M. Elia, 65, passed away on February 28, 2022 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Bluefields, Nicaragua, she was the daughter of the late Bacaro and Margarita (Trejos) Salomon. She married Laurence Elia in 1977, became a US citizen in 1980, and raised her family in Wilson, NY.

Samia was a devoted homemaker.  She enjoyed traveling and centered her life around her family.

Samia is survived by her children, Samia M. (Ryan) Brennan, Arthur L. (Jenna) Elia and Anthony L. (Amanda Roma) Elia; her grandchildren, Aidan Brennan, Liam Brennan, Armin Elia, Avi Elia and Adrianna Elia as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Soad Lopez, Bacaro Salomon, Sajam Canton and Yamil Salomon.

Samia's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 18 at 10:30 AM in St. Peter's RC Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY 14092.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Niagara Hospice.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
