Samuel A. Mussari, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday June 1, 2013 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Samuel and Anna (La Porta) Mussari.



Sam attended local schools and graduated from Niagara County Community College where he earned three Associate's degrees in Business, Civil Engineering Technology and Criminal Justice. Samuel served his country in the United States Army Reserves for over 28 years. He married his loving wife, Linda J. (Lum) Mussari on April 18, 1970 at St. Leo's Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Sam was employed as a Safety Trainer at the Delphi Plant in Lockport, NY for over 30 years until his retirement in 2002. Mr. Mussari owned and operated Mussari Inc. in which he flipped homes and apartment complexes throughout Western New York. He was also the owner of Mussari & Son Construction. Following his retirement, he continued to stay active by working as a bus driver for Bedore Tours and Carrier Coach both in Niagara Falls, NY. Sam's greatest passion was fixing up homes. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and dedication to the success of his work.



In addition to his wife of forty three years, Sam is survived by his two children, Samuel P. Mussari of Los Angeles, CA and Gina (Terry) Smith of Niagara Falls, NY; two grandchildren, Angeleah and Cerrina Smith; one sister Mary (Darrel) Ecker of Youngstown, NY; one brother Joseph (Julia) Mussari of Torrence, CA; his three sisters-in-law Edwina (late William) Ruffner of Niagara Falls, NY, Theresa (Jerry) Stachowiak of Buffalo, NY, and Maryann (Enrico) Quarcini of North Canton, OH; one brother in law Daniel (late Joanne) Lum of Niagara Falls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.



Visitation will be held on Monday June 3rd from 6 – 8 P.M. and Tuesday June 4th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 P.M. at the M.J COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304 where funeral services will begin on Wednesday June 5th at 11:00 with Rev. Dave Costantino officiating. Entombment with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
