Samuel Toarmino, Sr. 73 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on January 27, 2017 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Rosario "Ross" and Gertrude (Zito)Toarmino.

Sam was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. On March 17, 1963, he married Patricia L. (Sams) Toarmino in Lewiston, NY. Sam worked as a painter for the Painters Union on several large projects in the area, as well as owned and operated various local businesses in Niagara Falls. He also enjoyed repairing and painting automobiles in his shop, fishing and the casino. Above all Sam enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his beloved wife, Mr. Toarmino is survived by his children, Rose Marie (David) Hoholek, Samuel Toarmino, Jr., Lisa (Avon Lewis) Toarmino, and was predeceased by a son, Charles (Darlene of Niagara Falls) Toarmino. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three siblings, John (late Charlene) Toarmino, Jenny (late Larry) Griffin, Ann (Peter) Stinis; and several, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Leo (Ruth of Niagara Falls) Toarmino, Joseph Toarmino, Peter Toarmino, Ross Toarmino, Charles Toarmino, Margaret (late Aldo) Sepe, Rosie (late Albanie) Harvey, Anthony DeFranco and Joanne Remple.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, concluding with a prayer service.
