Sandra L. Aughtman, 76, passed away on October 24, 2020 at Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Muskogee, OK, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Gertrude (Gleason) Saunders.

Sandra came to the Niagara Falls area in the 1990's.  In 2004, she married Clanton M. "Butch" Aughtman in Andalusia, AL.  She was a longtime member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Niagara Falls.  Sandra enjoyed playing bingo, making crafts and latch hook rugs, collecting wolf items, and playing games with her friends in Wrobel Towers.

In addition to her husband of 16 years, Sandra is survived by her daughter, Carol Wheelock, as well as her grandchildren, Timothy Babula, Rachel Babula, Abigail Babula, and Rebecca Taylor, as well as several cousins and friends.

There will be no prior visitation.  Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee, NY will be held at the convenience of the family.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, WNY Chapter, 6215 Sheridan Drive #100, Buffalo, NY 14221.  Arrangements by M.J.
