Sara M. Gromniak, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 4, 2022 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Elba, AL, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Mary Ella (Mack) Price.

Sara attended schools and graduated from High School in Alabama.  She came to the Niagara Falls area in 1954.  On November 5, 1955, she married Stanley Gromniak in St. Catherines, Ontario.  Mr. Gromniak predeceased her on May 22, 1990.  Sara was employed for 28 years in the Catalog and Customer Service Department at Sears in Niagara Falls, NY, retiring in 1990.  Sara was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Niagara Falls, NY.  Sara enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to Gospel music, sewing, knitting and playing bingo and cards.  She also enjoyed listening to people and conversations, and especially cherished family holidays.

Sara is survived by her daughters, Donna 'Mary' (late Mark) Clark, Deborah (Mark) Boesken, and Paulette (Sean) Donoughe; her grandchildren, Mark (Cindy) Clark, Jr., Jason Clark (Jessica Woods), Sara Clark (Ian Carr), Dana (Christopher) Shoff, Mark (Lynette) Boesken, Jr., Alisa (Jose) Salas, Ryan Perry, Sean Donoughe, Donald Donoughe, Kaile Donoughe, and Nicholas Donoughe; her great-grandchildren, Brianna, Ian, Ayden, Christopher, Jr., Luca, Gannon, Teagan, Kevin, Stone, and Pia; 2 great-great grandchildren, Gianni and Sofia; her siblings, Pauline, (late Walter) Balkom and Bobby (late Faye) Price, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of the 3 ^rd Floor of Schoellkopf Nursing Facility for the care and compassion shown to Sara during her time there.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J.
