Sarafine C. "Sally" (Cutroneo) Orsini, 95, of Grand Island, NY, passed away at home after a brief illness on Thursday, August 13, 2015. Born June 13, 1920 in Lackawanna, NY she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Josephine (Versaci) Cutroneo.

Sally, as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, lived most of her life in Buffalo, NY. On June 24, 1944 she married John J. Orsini in Buffalo and was predeceased by him on May 1, 1984. In 1988 she moved to Grand Island where she currently resided. Sally was a member of the Grand Island Senior Citizens and in her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking.

Mrs. Orsini is survived by three children Joseph E. Orsini of Niagara Falls, NY, Pasquale J. "Luke" (Vera) Orsini of West Seneca, NY and Jean M. (late Thomas) Clabeaux of Grand Island, NY; six grandchildren Gina Ann Orsini, John (Amy) Orsini, Joelle Orsini, Danielle Orsini, Timothy Clabeaux and Gregory (Bernadette) Clabeaux and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters Antoinette (late Salvatore) Liberti and Catherine "Kay" (late Joseph) Calvano.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 17th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours, 1140 Abbott Road, Buffalo, NY with Rev. James Judge officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Buffalo, NY.
