Sarah F. Baxter, 74, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2020, at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Andalusia, AL, she was the daughter of the late Rainer and Ethel (Stallworth) Baxter.

Sarah moved to Niagara Falls during the 1960's and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed with the Niagara County Head Start Program for over 30 years prior to her retirement. For many years, Ms. Baxter also ran a daycare service at her residence and served as a foster parent. She was also a longtime member of the Emmanuel Temple Church where she taught Sunday school, and was a current member of Christ Redemption Tabernacle.

Above all, Sarah devoted her life around her family who she especially enjoyed spending time with. She is survived by her children, Mark Baxter, Rick (Luchianna) Baxter, Michelle (nee Suggs) Johnson and Demetrius Baxter; her grandchildren, Michael Cook, Monique Cook, Marcus Baxter, Michelle Baxter, Makila Matthews, Rhianna Baxter, Shakaya Baxter, Antonio Johnson, Jr., Jordan Frank and Cassidy Frank; great-grandchildren, Avianna, Chloe, Chase and Liam; her daughter-in-law, Charmelle Baxter; one sister, Inez Baxter, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three siblings, Betty Miller, Beulah Thompson and Charlie Baxter.
