Sarah E. (Gigliotti) DeLabio, 75, of the Town of Niagara died on Sunday June 3, 2012. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Vincent J. and Viola L. (Malvestuto) Gigliotti.

Sarah was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She graduated from LaSalle Senior High School and later from Doyle School of Beauty in Buffalo, NY in 1956. On September 9, 1961 she married Anthony DeLabio, Jr. at St. John De LaSalle Church in Niagara Falls. Sarah began a lifelong career as a beautician at the former Cameo Beauty Salon. Following that she, along with her mother, owned and operated, Sarah and Vi's Hair Salon on Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY for fifty six years until recently retiring. Sarah was a member of St. John De LaSalle Church as well as their St. Martha's Bereavement Group. She was also a member of the Birthday Club and the Mother and Daughter Club. Sarah was an excellent cook, and enjoyed preparing wonderful meals for her family and friends.

In addition to her husband of fifty years, Mrs. DeLabio is survived by two children Anita (Chris) Scrivano and Anthony V. DeLabio both of Niagara Falls, NY; two grandchildren Sarah Scrivano and Vincent Kirby; one brother Vincent F. (Lisa) Gigliotti of Niagara Falls, NY and was the aunt of Nicole Gigliotti (Dave Maxwell), Stacy Seefeldt and Justin (Danielle) Seefeldt. Sarah is also survived by several cousins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday June 7th at 10 a.m. in St. John De LaSalle Church, 8469 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Slawomir Siok, SAC officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
