Obituary

Scott G. Sullivan, 65, of Lewiston, NY, father, proud grandfather, and resilient survivor, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 after a long and courageous life.  In 1986, a motorcycle accident left him paralyzed, unconscious, and with a traumatic brain injury – changing his life forever.  What followed was not an easy road; one marked by strength, determination, extreme stubbornness, and perseverance.  He faced the impossible and relearned how to do everything, showing bravery that inspired others.

Scott is survived by his stepmother, Chalyce Sullivan, his loving daughter, Rose, and her husband Vanik, as well as two cherished grandsons, Gavan and Mason.  He found immense joy in their accomplishments, often sharing their achievements with anyone that would listen.

Scott loved being outdoors, challenging the hill at Fort Niagara, and especially tending to his garden.  He enjoyed art, drawing and painting, as well as woodworking.  Cooking brought Scott happiness, as did good conversation with friends, particularly when topics turned to cars and motorcycles.  Above all else, his family meant everything to him, and his role as "Grandpa" was one he treasured deeply.

Scott's life was a testament to resilience, love and the power of perseverance.  He will be remembered most for his strength, stubbornness, and the deep pride he held for his family.  Scott will be greatly missed and forever loved.

In accordance with Scott's wishes, there will be no prior visitation or funeral services.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Fort Niagara State Park, https://www.naturalheritagetrust.org/donate-to-niagara/.  Arrangements by M.J.
