Sean P. Sweeney, 59, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday August 6, 2013 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late John J. and Donna (Bisaillon) Sweeney.

Sean was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. Following his graduation from high school, Sean worked for Conrail Railroad, Great Lakes Carbon, United Cab Co. and most recently at Aspen Square Management all in Niagara Falls, NY. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and watching Nascar racing. But his greatest pleasure was spending time with his granddaughters.

Sean is survived by his wife of thirty six years Linda (Cosimano) Sweeney, one son Sean Sweeney II (Michelle Raverrini) of Niagara Falls, NY; two granddaughters Mia and Meadow Sweeney of Niagara Falls, NY; two sisters Cindy (Phillip) Crisafulli of Niagara Falls, NY; Paulette (Thomas) Feeney of Texas; three brothers William Sweeney, Michael Sweeney of Niagara Falls, NY and Robert (Kelly) Sweeney of Tonawanda, NY and several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers- and sisters-in-law.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Friday August 9th at 10 a.m. with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
