Shakiya N. Boyce, 25, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2020.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Larry Boyce and Casandra Peterson.

Shakiya attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed as a cook at Five Guys Restaurant as well as T.G.I. Friday's, both in Niagara Falls.  Shakiya loved children, and her dream was to one day to open up a daycare.  She will be remembered as the life of the party and a very respectable woman that was unforgettable once anyone met her.

In addition to her parents, Shakiya is survived by her sister, Rashai S. Peterson and many other siblings; her aunts, Anna Torres, and Alejandrina Torres; her uncles, Carlos (Carletta) Torres, James (Jackie) Peterson, and Russell (Charlene) Peterson; her grandmother, Leola Ivery; her Godsons, Tyshawn Faison and Jaquez Sanders, her special friend, Dajanique Sanders, her cousin, Daquon Jones, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.  She was predeceased by her grandfather, Jerry Peterson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6 from 11 AM – 12:30 PM at Christ Redemption Tabernacle, 339 22 ^nd Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303, where funeral services will follow at 12:30 PM.  Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  Arrangements by M.J.
