IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Shannon M.
Palmer
October 30, 2025
Shannon M. Palmer, 41, of Gasport, NY, passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2025, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the beloved daughter of the late David "Hammy" Palmer and Karen (Musolino) Palmer.
A proud graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School, after Shannon moved to Pennsylvania, where she co-owned the Old Bull Cafe alongside Chelsea Dempsey. She made her way back to Western New York, where she most recently worked at the Behavioral Health Clinic of Niagara County in Niagara Falls.
Shannon was a beautiful vibrant soul who found joy in the outdoors: kayaking, fishing, gardening, and camping were among her favorite pastimes. She had a creative heart, expressed through crafting and a love for motorcycles, shopping, and cheering on her beloved Buffalo Bills and Sabres. Fiercely proud of her Scottish heritage, Shannon embraced life with a sharp wit and adventurous spirit.
Above all, Shannon cherished her family. She is survived by her mother Karen (Edward "Buddy" Neal), her treasured siblings Michael D. Palmer, Anna E. Watson, and Alexandria N. Upp; and her companion, Michael Myers. She was affectionately known as Aunt Birdie, and held a special place in the hearts of her nephews, David Palmer, Shawn Watson, and niece, Lilliana Watson, and is also survived by her cherished dogs, Phoebe and Kaine, as well as her loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
