Sharon (Pichcuskie) Alex, 65, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Edna (Lazarski) Pichcuskie.

Sharon was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls and Lewiston, NY area. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Hairstyling Cosmetology School. In March of 1967, she married Joseph Alex at St. Mary of the Cataract Church in Niagara Falls, NY. She enjoyed golfing, but especially enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

In addition to her husband of forty seven years, Sharon is survived by two children Lisa M. (Paul) Langford of New Port Richey, FL and Christopher (Danielle) Alex of Pendleton, NY; four grandchildren Cody Bruce and Tanner Bruce of New Port Richey, FL and Joseph Alex and Abigail Alex of Lockport, NY; three step-grandchildren Lexis, Hannah and Gabriella Keller; one sister Doreen Bachert of Niagara Falls, NY; two brothers William Pichcuskie of California, David Pichcuskie of Niagara Falls, NY; her special niece Jamie Duncan-Bachert and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother Roy Pichcuskie and one sister Rosanne (Jeff of California) Hensley.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Friday January 2nd at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
