Sharon Casten, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Mary (Sicurella) Lipiano.

Sharon was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls where she graduated from Niagara Falls High School and obtained her business degree. On October 24, 1970, she married her husband, Gary Casten, at St. Joseph Church.

Sharon was employed as a Pharmacy technician for many years at Rite Aid in Niagara Falls. She was an avid fan of I Love Lucy and especially loved spending time with her family. Her beautiful personality and smile will be deeply missed by her family and countless friends.

In addition to her husband of 49 years, she is survived by her daughter Tara (Albert Scheifla) Casten; her grandchildren, Avaliese and Austin Scheifla; her sister, Maria (Frank) Miklitsch; her godchildren, Nicole (Miklitsch) Brockway, Nicolas Occhipinti, Anthony Testa, Jr., as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 17 ^th from 3 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Sharon's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:30 A.M. in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.
