Sharon P. Costanzo, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on July 26, 2025. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Ruth (Scotland) Burns.

Sharon was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls where she attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On January 7, 1967, Sharon married the love of her life, David A. Costanzo, at the former Our Lady of Lebanon Church.

Sharon was employed by the Niagara Falls Board of Education for over 30 years prior to her retirement. Outside of work, Sharon found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved her daily "Coffee Club at Kiki's," was an avid garage sale enthusiast, and a frequent visitor to the Casino. Above all, her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, David of 58 years, Sharon is survived by her two daughters, Denise (Matthew) Morreale and Shari Costanzo-Giancola; four grandchildren, David Waddington, James Waddington, Kaitlyn Giancola and Hailey Giancola and her son-in-law, Keith Giancola. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Bruce (Maria) Burns, Douglas Burns and Thomas Burns.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Sharon's compassionate caregivers from Niagara Hospice: Judy, ChrisAnne, and Heather, as well as her devoted neighbor and caretaker, Diane, whose love and support brought comfort to Sharon and her family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Funeral services followed by entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY will be held privately for Sharon's family.
