Sharon M. Durham, 66, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on October 1, 2021 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. Born in Oshweken, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Anne L. (Gaikesheongai) Anderson.
Sharon came to the Niagara Falls area from the Six Nations Reserve as a child. She graduated from Niagara Falls High School and was employed at Moore Business Forms. She enjoyed planning picnics, thrift shopping, and going to local diners for breakfast to talk the ears off of strangers. Sharon treasured family above all, and was passionate about spending time with her many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She effortlessly took on the mantle of grandmother to any stray that walked into her life - whether they had two legs or four. Sharon regarded rock and roll as the only genre of music to truly exist, and thrived on her wit and wild stories emanating from a life well lived, and well loved.
Sharon is survived by her children, Deanna (Mike)Viccica and Danielle (Joseph) Scozzafava; her grandchildren, Devan (Josh) Susice, Megan Viccica, Jordan Bovanizer, Dillon Bovanizer, Collin Bovanizer, Luca Scozzafava, and Scarlett Scozzafava; her great-grandson, Rowan Perkins; her siblings, Faye (late Lyle Gray) Anderson, Carol Anderson, Steven (Mary) Anderson, and Dawn (Paul) Townsend; her nieces and nephews, Shannon (Jason) Wolf, Dottie (Aaron) Lang, Sheena Anderson, Daniel Lounsbury, Shelby Sisler; her great nieces and nephews, David Lounsbury, Skylar Anderson, Aurora Lounsbury, Brandon Anderson, Olivia Wolf, Samuel Anderson, Silas Anderson, Juliet Lang.
