Shirlee Snyder, 97, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully at Schoellkopf Health Center on Thursday, January 4, 2023. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Howard E. Snyder and the late Nella A. (nee Hill) (late Herman) George.

Shirlee was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and was employed by Moore Business Forms for over 40 years prior to her retirement. She was an excellent singer and longtime member of the former Niagara Songsters. An avid animal lover, she had a special passion for cats and was a proud supporter of the Niagara County SPCA. Shirlee will be remembered for her quick wit, sense of humor and outspoken ways. She also had a heart of gold and would enjoy shoveling snow for her former neighbors out of the kindness of her heart.

Shirlee is survived by her close friends Lorne Rush, Jim Buchalski and Debbie Buchalski, as well as two nieces, and two nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Glen Snyder.

Private interment will be held alongside her mother in West Ridgeway Cemetery, Medina, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
