Shirley Gebczyk, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Born in Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Ruth (Schelanski) Smith.

Shirley attended local schools in Elmira, NY and later moved to Niagara Falls with her family. She was employed for many years as a homecare health aid until her retirement. Shirley was a former member of the United Methodist Church and the former Sanborn Baptist Church, where she played the organ. She was a talented musician and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. Above all, Shirley loved spending time with her many friends and family.

Ms. Gebczyk is survived by her children Vincent (Patricia) Gebczyk and Amy (Joe) Gebczyk-Scalzo; grandchildren Christina (William) McQuillan and Alyssa (Andrew) Campbell; one sister Betty-Lou Kelchner , as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
