Shirley Ann Trunzo, 81, of Wheatfield, NY, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the loving daughter of the late Tom and Mary (Corsaro) Trunzo.
Shirley attended local schools in Niagara Falls and was employed for many years at N.F. Memorial Hospital as a cook, until her retirement in 1997. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and working in the yard. She loved spending time with the children in the family. She also enjoyed taking care of her home.
Shirley is survived by her brothers, Michael (Frances)Trunzo and Eugene (Madlyne) Trunzo; and was predeceased by one brother Gilbert (late Beverly) Trunzo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28th from 2 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Family and friends are asked to gather at the Funeral Parlor, Thursday at 10 A.M. for funeral services with Rev. Gary Szczepankiewicz officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
