Shirleyann E. (Price) Jarvis. 73 of the Town of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Saturday March 14, 2015 while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Wayland, NY, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Lucille (Schumbehl) Price.

Shirleyann moved to the Niagara Falls area as a young child with her family. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On April 24, 1965 she married Neil R. Jarvis at St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. Jarvis predeceased her on November 3, 2011. For thirty years, Shirleyann worked at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY as a nurse's aid and later on as a surgical prep assistant until her retirement. She was a long time devoted member of St. Leo's Church in the Town of Niagara. Above all Shirleyann was devoted to her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and will be remembered for her generosity and giving heart.

Shirleyann is survived by one daughter, Barbara Lynn (Thomas) Carlisto of Niagara Falls, NY; three grandchildren, Amanda (William Rial) Carlisto, Summer (Joseph Markel) Carlisto and Lexus Carlisto; three great-grandchildren, Mckayla, Mason and Thomas, her sisters, Elaine (Robert) Abersold of Niagara Falls, NY, Geraldine (Edward) Daul of Cambria, NY, Agnes Sulkey of Colorado, her brother-in-law, James "Larry" (Carolyn) Jarvis of Pendleton, NY; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one sister Joanne (William of Niagara Falls, NY) Biggins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Thursday March 19th at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094 or charity of choice.
