Stefana Morreale, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2018 at O.L.P Nursing Health Care Facility in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Grotte, Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Carmello and Rosa (Terrana) Vinzzini.

Stefana was raised and educated in Italy.  On November 9, 1955, she married Carmen J. Morreale in Italy.  Following their marriage, they came to Niagara Falls with their family. Mr. Morreale predeceased her on April 18, 1995 after 40 memorable years together.

Stefana was employed as a seamstress at Walker's Laundry in Niagara Falls for over 24 years.  She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church. Stefana was known for her cooking, especially her bread and pizza which she proudly featured in the convenience store that she owned with her husband on 72 ^nd Street in the late 1960's.

Stefana is survived by her children, Mary (Raymond) Smeal, Carmen "Sonny" (Barbara) Morreale, Marlene (Duane "Bob") Strassburg, Salvatore Morreale, Rosemary (Frank) Lignos, Joseph (Carmen) Morreale, family friend Sheila Tallarico and her family; 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren; her brother Stefano (Carmela) Vinzzini, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by sisters, Concetta, Calogera, and Lilla, and her brothers Salvatore Vinzzini and Antonio (Frances) Vinzzini.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 16 ^th from 4 – 8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin on Monday at 9:15 A.M, followed by Stefana's Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
