Stella (Nardello) Conti, 92, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY entered heaven on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Highland Lake Nursing Center in Lakeland, FL. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angeline (Valery) Nardello.

Stella attended local Niagara Falls schools. On October 5, 1940 she married Joseph J. Conti; Mr. Conti predeceased her on December 9, 2006. Stella was employed at Kmart in the Town of Niagara. One of Stella's greatest pleasures was making people laugh. Her sense of humor and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her.

Mrs. Conti is survived by four daughters, Joanne (Dr. Philip) Potempa of Lockport, NY; Charlotte (Robert) Hollywood, Naomi (Robert) Matheis both of Lakeland, FL and Marlene Conti of Rochester, NY; nine grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by three brothers and three sisters, Phyllis (Frank) Mauro, Daniel (Angeline) Nardello, Frank Nardello, Jr., Constance (Tom) Romano, Emilio (Lydia) Nardello and Lydia (Carl) Colletti.

Visitation will be held on Saturday June 1st from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5871 Military Road, Lewiston, NY where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Foster officiating. Interment will follow.

Stella had a passion to help children around the world have a better life.
