Stephen M. Swiatkowski, 57, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 19, 2020, at his residence.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Henrietta (Cicero) Swiatkowski and the late Stanley Swiatkowski.

Stephen graduated from LaSalle Sr. High School in 1981, where he was commonly known as "Swick." Steve was retired for several years. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and longtime season ticket holder, as well as an avid Buffalo Sabres fan.  He was a coach at Niagara Falls Junior Football Club for 16 years.   He was the life of the party and never met a stranger.  He was known to crack a joke, even until his last breath.  Above all, he loved being "Papa" to his granddaughters.

In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his sons, Michael Swiatkowski, Stephen (Mariel) Swiatkowski, and Daniel Swiatkowski, USN; his granddaughters, Destiny, Sophia, and Victoria Swiatkowski; his sisters, Susan Swiatkowski and Christy Swiatkowski, his godfather Nicholas Ligammari, and his cousin Marina Leffler, as well as many other relatives. Steve had many dear friends including life-long friend Richard Evans.    He was predeceased by one brother, Michael Swiatkowski.

Due to recent circumstances, funeral services will be private for the family. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A public Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced.
