Obituary

Sue Ann ( Susie ) Vicino, 62, of Port Ludlow, Washington, passed away on September 7, 2016. Born in Niagara Falls, New York, she was the daughter of the late Francis Martin ( Bud ) Salada and Patricia Ann ( McGowan ) Salada.

Susie attended Madonna Senior High School and the University of Buffalo ~ Millard Fillmore School of Nursing. She worked 5 years at Memorial Medical Center as an RN until she had her children and became a full time mother.
Susie lived in several places due to Felix's career. She lived in Portland, Texas; Cross Lanes, West Virginia; Puyallup, Washington; Arlington, Washington; Eastvale, California and Port Ludlow, Washington.

Susie loved living in the Pacific Northwest, but hated being away from her family and friends in Western, New York. She cherished all the friends she made in her travels and kept close to many of them. She adored her children and was so very proud of their many accomplishments. She was very close to them. Her happiest times was when we were all together as a family. She absolutely loved to cook and that was her biggest disappointment when she was no longer able to do so. She was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis ( the worst type of MS ) in 2009. She ended up confined to a wheelchair, although she still managed to travel and do things that made her happy. Susie was in constant pain due to her illness. She was a very loving person, wife, mother and friend and would do all she could for friends and relatives. She was simply a beautiful person.

Susie is survived by her husband, Felix Vicino, of Port Ludlow, Washington; two daughters, Christine Vicino of Bellingham, Washington and Katie ( Robbie ) Davison, of Wilson, North Carolina. She is also survived by two brothers, Mark ( Becky ) Salada of Lewiston, New York and Jeff ( Margie ) Salada of Pendleton, New York. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Angela ( Vito ) Mecca of Grand Island, New York, and Josephine ( Jo-Jo ) Vicino of Niagara Falls, New York. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
