Sunny Lee Printup, 72, of Salamanca, NY, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Ransomville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Doris (Pembelton) Printup.
Sunny was a member of the Tuscarora Nation, attended local schools and later graduated from the former LaSalle High School in Niagara Falls, NY. Sunny was employed as a secretary at Smokin Joes Trading Post and also worked at Tuskewe Krafts where she enjoyed weaving lacrosse stick heads. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing bingo, card games and bowling. She also loved to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
Sunny is survived by her two sons, Fredrick Phillip (Monica) Crogan of Sanborn, NY, Clifford S. Crogan of Salamanca, NY and one daughter Kelli (late Kyle) Dowdy of Salamanca, NY. She was predeceased by three sons Anthony S. Crogan, Theodore Crogan and Bradley Crogan. Sunny is also survived by her siblings, Clifford Printup, Cyril Printup, Dennis Printup, Lanny Printup, Susan Gansworth, Penny Hudson and Theodore Printup, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Erwin Printup and three sisters, Dianne Fuller, Helen Printup and Mary Printup.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9th from 4 – 8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday, February 10th at 12 Noon at the Tuscarora Indian Mission, Walmore Rd., Lewiston, NY with Rev. Donald Robinson officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
