Susan R. Bower, 61, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on January 15, 2022 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Susan (Wensley) Mang.

Susan attended local schools, graduating from LaSalle Senior High School.  On September 1, 1979, she married Richard 'Rick' C. Bower at Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls, NY.  Susan was employed as an office manager for Hills and Target in Niagara Falls, NY.  Most recently, she was the Human Resource Manager for Restaurant Depot in Cheektowaga, NY for 10 years prior to her retirement in 2018.  Susan enjoyed crafting.  She will be remembered for her big personality and her very straightforward and honest nature.  Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband of 42 years, Susan is survived by her children, Kara (John) Anderson, Jordan Bower, and Matthew Bower; her granddaughters, Ariana and Adalia Anderson; her brothers, Ronnie (Susan) Mang and Raymond Mang, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her son, Gregory Allen Bower, and her brother, Chuckie Mang.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, where funeral services will be held at 7 PM.  Interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
