Susan J. Janker, 75, of Wheatfield, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Born in South Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marion (Land) Leonard; beloved wife of James Janker, who she married August 22, 1970 at Grace Lutheran Church in South Buffalo, NY. She is also the loving mother to David (Valerie) Janker, Lisa (Robert) Santiago and Jennifer (fiancé Robert Ganz) Janker; cherished grandmother to David Janker, Jr, Michael (Whitney) Janker, Estelle Janker, Alicia (Steven) Harris, Joseph Santiago, Matthew Santiago and Alexis Ganz; beloved Grandma Susie to Madison, Hannah, Abigail Harris and Ryan Janker; dear sister to Marianne (late Nicholas) Lazorsiak and Judith (late Leslie) Mascho; sister-in-law to Mark (Sue) Janker; and is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

After retiring from her career with Buffalo General Hospital, Susan enjoyed traveling with her husband, tending to her flowers and pond garden, as well as spending time with her family. Summer was her favorite time to create cherished memories with her grandchildren, as well as going boating, swimming, baking and gardening.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 15 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM.
