Susan J. Joyce, 77, of Depew, NY, passed away on November 4, 2024 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Gloria (Dommer) Helmicki. She was the beloved wife of 55 years to Bruce A. Joyce.

Susan was a retired employee of Erie Community College where she worked in office administration. Sue was known for keeping a very tidy house where everything had its proper place.  She had a passion for "delegating", and also loved making several trips to the Casino, playing her slots, making sure her garden was color coordinated, most of all spending time with her family and especially her granddaughter, Morgan.

In addition to her husband Bruce, she is survived by her sons, Greg (Courtney) Joyce and Robert Joyce, her grandchild, Morgan Joyce; her sister, Nancy (Robert) Lampka, her sister-in- law of Ruth (Jerry) DeHeus, her nieces and nephews, Carrie Rutland, Michelle Hepburn, Spencer (Crystal Esq.) Repka, Elizabeth (Connor) Hoeflich, Jessica (Daniel) Elliott, and Robert Lampka III, great nieces and nephews, Ava and Zachary Elliott, and lifelong friend, Patricia Cichocki.

There will be no prior visitation.  Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.  If desired, memorials in Susan's honor may be sent to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of ones' choice.
