Susan L. LaGray, 68, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Friday, March 1, 2019, at Schoellkopf Healthcare Facility. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Tulino) (Silvio) Flori and the late Robert Reeves.
Susan attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational as a cosmetologist. She was the former owner of The Shearing Den on 19
th
Street for many years, retiring in 2006.
Susan married Timothy LaGray on September 24, 1988, at Holy Trinity Church in Niagara Falls. She was a longtime member of St. Leo's Church, the Elks Club and the Cristoforo Colombo Society Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed working out at Crunch Gym but above all, Susan was known for being an excellent cook, baker, and will be remembered for her famous Christmas Cookies.
In addition to her beloved husband of 31 years, Susan is survived by her step-daughter, Sherry Bocce; her brother, Robert (Susan) Reeves and her sister Sandra Church, as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. She was also the mother to her cherished Irish Setter, Riley. They often could be seen by many, walking together on Niagara Falls Blvd. and Hyde Park.
There will be no prior visitation. Susan's Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, March 8th at 10:30 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials in Susan's name may be sent to the Niagara County SPCA.
