Obituary

Suzette Tulip, 49, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 17, 2023. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of Sandra Irene (Zabaldo) Tulip and the late George Rix Tulip.

Suzette was a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School where she excelled in soccer. She was also a former cheerleader with the Niagara Wheatfield Amateur Athletics. Suzette attended Rochester Institute of Technology and Ohio State University, earning her Bachelor's degree in Art. She served as Vice President of the Alpha XI Delta sorority during her time at RIT.

Suzette was currently employed by the New York State Office of People with Development Disabilities, a position she loved tremendously. She also worked at her family's restaurant, The Playground, in the Town of Niagara for many years as the bar manager.

Suzette was a member of the Buff Social Club and an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills. She was also a girl scout leader and longtime member of the Zoar Valley Girl Scout Camp.  Suzette loved spending time outdoors, attending concerts and was a passionate fan of the Grateful Dead and The Tragically Hip. She had a heart of gold, an unforgettable sense of humor, and smile that would light up a room. Above all, Suzette cherished the time spent with her family and friends, as well as her five cats. She will be missed dearly, but will continue to live on in the hearts of all of those she loved.

In addition to her mother, Suzette is survived by her two children, who were her pride and joy , Anthony and Kacie D'Aloise; her sisters, Dana DiRamio and Tabatha (Christopher) Tulip-Bondi; the father of her children, John D'Aloise; her aunts, Mary Jane Kelly, Carol (Lou) Perri, Margie (Larry) McKenzie; her nieces, Kristina (Ryan) DiGati and Ashley Nicole DiRamio; her nephew, George (Sammi) DiRamio; her best friends, Ondrea Marie Shaffer and Billie Lee Ambrusko, and Maria Ann Bell, who was like another younger sister to her.
