Tammy Darlene Young, 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Born in Benton, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late William and Marcine (Stewart) Wheeler; and the beloved wife of the late Gary Young.

Tammy was raised in Arkansas and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. She worked as a line cook at various restaurants in Benton, AR, for many years. Following the loss of her husband, she moved to the area to be closer to her son and daughter-in-law, as well as her grandchildren.

Tammy was a talented artist and gifted drawer. Above all she enjoyed spending time on the Saline river with friends and her loving family.

Tammy is survived by her son Alex, her daughter-in-law Prisca; her grandchildren, Sofia and Julia; her brother Marvin and sister-in-Law Valerie; Her brother-in-law Scotty and wife Janice; Her brother-in-law Dennis and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her beloved dog, Max who she also loved dearly.
