Teresa A. (Archie) Bazzani, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Monday December 29, 2008 at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Kate (Chiodo) Archie.

Teresa, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1936. On November 15, 1941 she married Dante Bazzani in Niagara Falls. Mr. Bazzani predeceased her on June 13, 1963. Teresa worked at the former Kimberly Clark Co. and later at the Niagara Falls Board of Education both in Niagara Falls. She was also employed as a secretary for the Detective Bureau of the Niagara Falls Police Department. Teresa was a member of various local senior groups including Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Seniors, the Friendly Seniors, John Duke Center, the Young at Heart and the Socialites. She enjoyed crocheting and will be remembered as a phenomenal cook.

Mrs. Bazzani is survived by four children Daniel (Beverley) Bazzani, Sandra (Ben) Santangelo, Ann (late James) Wiegand all of Niagara Falls, NY; Anita (Jerry) Feldman of Pittsburgh, PA; six grandchildren Renee (Michael)Leone, Mark (BethAnn) Feldman, Michele Santangelo, Brian (Beth) Feldman, Kimberly Wiegand and Ali Bazzani; six great grandchildren; two sisters Rose (John) D'Amore of Florida and Frances (late Joseph) Sirianni of Niagara Falls, NY; one brother Julie (Nila) Archie and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sam (late Jessie) Archie, Ralph (late Josephine) Archie, Daniel (Frances of Wheatfield, NY) Archie, Mary (late James) Maloni and Earl (Mamie of Las Vegas, NV) Archie.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 – 7 p.m. and on Thursday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Friday January 2nd at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
