Teresa Torres, 45, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Monday December 15, 2008 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Born in Villalba, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Roman and Maria (Pantoga) Torres.

Teresa was educated in Puerto Rico and in May 2008 she came to Niagara Falls where she currently resided. Known to be a very happy lady, she loved spending time with her family. She also loved to sing and enjoyed cooking.

Teresa is survived by seven children Joshua Torres of Orlando, FL; Jennifer Torres, Victor Torres, Antonio Torres, Leycha Torres all of Puerto Rico, Jovany Torres and Robert Torres both of Niagara Falls, NY and was predeceased by one son Robert Torres. She is also survived by eight siblings Virgin (late Diomede) Natal of Puerto Rico; Jose Antonio Torres of Philadelphia, PA; Carmen (Charlie) Lopez of Puerto Rico, Jose Torres of Niagara Falls, NY; Hilda Torres; Aurora Torres both of Puerto Rico, Victor (Pam) Torres of Niagara Falls, NY; Maritza Torres of Philadelphia, PA and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one brother Ramon Torres.

Friends may call on Friday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468 19TH STREET, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. William Allegretto, CM officiating.
