Terry A. Smith, 67, of Tonawanda, NY, passed away on October 25, 2021 at his residence.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was son of the late Paul H. and Wanda M. (Tweed) Smith.

Terry was a graduate of Niagara-Wheatfield High School.  On April 24, 1988, he married Lynn M. (Morrow) Smith in Niagara Falls. Terry was employed in Maintenance at TAM Ceramics for 20 years until his retirement in 2007.  Most recently, he was employed as a bus driver for Niagara Falls Coach Lines.   Terry was a Volunteer Firefighter with Niagara Active Hose for 20 years.

In his younger years, Terry was a skilled pitcher, and was a member of the 1971 New York State American Legion Wheatfield Post Championship Team.  Terry loved following sports, especially the Bills, Sabres, and Yankees, but also loved attending sporting events for his children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  In addition, he liked to bowl, golf and go to the Casino.  Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, especially at family gatherings and their annual chowder parties.

In addition to his wife of 33 years, Terry is survived by his children, Terry A. (Melanie) Smith, Jr., Christopher M. (Tiffany) Smith, Jennifer L. (Jay) Topick, and Shannon M. (Ryan) Thuman; his grandchildren, Anthony Smith, Terry A. (Joraville) Smith, III, Angeleah Smith, Cerrina Smith, Ryan Fournier, Christopher Smith, Kayla (Eric) Walker, Madelyn Smith, Alexis Smith, Addison Topick, Jaxson Topick, and one grandchild on the way; 5 great grandchildren; his siblings, Paul H. (Geraldine) Smith, Brenda D. (Lamont) Baptiste, and Steven B. Smith, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his grandson, Christopher Smith, and his brother, Patterson G. Smith.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28 from 2 – 7 PM at M.J.
