Theresa P. 'Daisy' Mistretta, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on September 12, 2021 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Galeton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Palma (Gialloretto) Basile.

During the 1950's and 1960's she assisted at her former husband's Grocery Store (D& M Food Mart) in Niagara Falls, NY.  Daisy attended Beautician School, also working as a hairdresser and in the mid 1970's, in her 50's, she received her real estate license and worked with Realty USA.  Daisy worked all her life and liked tending to her plants and shrubs on her property.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.  Other favorite hobbies included visiting garage and estate sales.  She loved collecting antiques.

Daisy is survived by her children, Louis (Ann) Mistretta and Mary (Joseph) Veto; her grandchildren, Joelle Mistretta, Natalie Mistretta, Michael (Alana) Mistretta, Marc (Carly) Mistretta, Sean (Katelyn) Mistretta and Justine Mistretta; 5 great grandchildren; her siblings, Mary (late Alex) Fabrizio, Helen (late David) Frisoni, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, Mariano 'Babe' Mistretta, her sons, Joseph (Janice) Mistretta and Christopher Mistretta, along with her siblings, Joseph 'Pep' (late Vera) Basile, Grace Basile, Thomas (late Ann) Basile, and Tony (Elaine) Basile.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15 from 4 - 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, followed by a memorial service beginning at 7 PM.  Entombment will be St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of WNY.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
