Theresa D'Aloise, 93 of Lewiston, NY, passed away on November 23, 2021 at Schoellkopf Health Center in Niagara Falls, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Mary Cornacchia.

Theresa attended local schools, graduating from Niagara Falls High School.  On July 27, 1948 she married Nick L. D'Aloise at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY.  Mr. D'Aloise predeceased her on March 16, 2020 after 72 years of marriage.  Theresa began working at Ambassador Leather goods prior to becoming Certified with New York State in food service and working at St. Joseph's Elementary School as Head Cook for over 30 years.  She was well known for creating her pizza puffs, which were served on Fridays at lunch.  She was a lifelong member at St. Joseph Church, Madonna Del Soccorso, Maria del Carmine Society, and the Cristoforo Colombo Society.  She was chairman of the St. Joseph Table and was also Bingo Chairman for numerous years.

Theresa is survived by her children Sheila (Robert) DiFrancesco, Joel D'Aloise, US Army LTC Retired, and Shelley (Gerry Wozniak) D'Aloise; 2 grandchildren, Lauren and Jonathan; a great-granddaughter, Madyson; her sister Antoinette (late Alfred R.) Tiede, Sr. as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Emily (late Sozzie) Mattoni, Loretta (late Frank) Bruccoleri, Joseph D. (late Marjorie) Montie, Rose (late John Puglia) (late Sidney) Parker and Joseph Cornacchia.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 2 – 6 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 9:45 AM on Monday followed by Theresa's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.  Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings in Theresa's honor may be made to Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church Restoration Fund.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
