Theresa M. DiFranco, 87, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Kaczor) Porebski.

Theresa attended local schools and graduated from South Park High School in Buffalo, NY. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends.

Theresa is survived by her husband of 59 years, Michael J. DiFranco of Lewiston, NY; one daughter, Barbara (Christopher) Blendowski of Niagara Falls, NY; two grandchildren, Andrew (Kandace) Blendowski and Katie (Roy Walker) Blendowski, as well as one great-grandchild Elizabella Blendowski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Theresa was predeceased by her eight siblings.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19th from 11 – 1 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
