Theresa A. (Deslatte) Lucinksi, 82, passed away on Sunday March 10th, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at Elderwood Health Care at Crestwood in Wheatfield, NY. Born in Whitehall, Louisiana she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Julia (Fontenot) Deslatte.

Mrs. Lucinski enjoyed playing bingo, dancing and singing. Theresa had a flair for Cajun cooking and enjoyed traveling; especially to the southern United States. Most importantly, she centered her life on the care and well being of her family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Lucinski. Mrs. Lucinski is survived by eight children, Ginny (Mike) McNamara of Niagara Falls, NY, Leonard (Sandy) Lapp of Lewiston, NY, Barbara (Roger) Wojcik of Wheatfield, NY, Bill (Margie) Lapp of Niagara Falls, NY, Gary (Stacey) Lucinski of Buffalo, NY, Doug (Kathy) Lapp of North Tonawanda, NY, Brian (Teresa) Lapp of Town of Niagara, NY, and Roni (Adam) Howell of Grand Island, NY. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Theresa was predeceased by her siblings, Adam Deslatte, Wilson Deslatte, Milton Deslatte, Joseph Deslatte, Eunice Fontenot, Roselia "Tubby" Anselno, and Lena Barrient.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Thursday March 14th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Robert Stolinski, officiating. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
