Thomas E. Cunningham, 79, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on August 16, 2024 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Pascoe) Cunningham.

Tom came to the Niagara Falls area as a child with his family and was a graduate of the former LaSalle Senior High School.  He proudly served 2 tours to Vietnam with the United Stated Army from 1965 until his honorable discharge in 1968.  Tom was employed for over 20 years as a Carpenter and Foreman with Scrufari Construction for over 20 years until his retirement, and was a member of the Carpenters Local 276 in Buffalo, NY.

On August 18, 1991, Tom married Cathleen 'Cathie' J. (Pane) Cunningham in Clayton, Thousand Islands, NY.  An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, he was also a member of the 3F Club in Youngstown, NY.  More than anything, Tom enjoyed the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his beloved wife of 32 years, Tom is survived by his step-children, Patrick Dick and Michael (Sandy) Dick; 3 grandchildren; his siblings, Kathleen Puglisi, Louisa (Marcel) Girod, and John E. (Charlotte) Cunningham, as well as several nieces, nephews, a great-niece, cousins and friends.  He was sadly predeceased by his nephew, Joseph Puglisi II.
