Thomas 'Tom' P. Destino, 69, of North Tonawanda, NY passed away on January 2, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late James J. and Carmella A. (Scrivano) Destino.

Tom graduated from LaSalle Senior High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Buffalo State in Career and Technical Education.  On October 1, 1983, he married Kimberly A. (Hartmann) Destino.  Tom was employed as a teacher at Orleans Niagara BOCES for over 30 years where he taught HVAC, launching many of his students into successful careers of their own.  He coached youth softball when his children were playing.  Tom was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed painting, playing keyboard, gardening and traveling.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 41 years, Thomas is survived by his children, Jessica K. (Robert) Colpoys III, Kaitlyn C. Destino and Thomas J. (Katlyn) Destino; grandchildren, Robert Colpoys IV, Christian Colpoys, Ava Destino and Thomas Destino; siblings, Mary Lou Barends, Joseph (Grace) Destino, John Destino, Michael (Cecilia) Destino, Louis (Darice) Destino, Kathleen (Dave) Amato, Frank (Melissa) Destino, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his brother, James L. Destino.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 10 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J.
